Stitch & Chat with the Board is an informal virtual gathering where members get together via Zoom. Usually, people share what they’re working on and sometimes what they’re reading. At the last get-together, members talked about needlework-related fiction and favourite authors.
The members attending direct the topics. Who knows what will come up? Perhaps we’ll talk about the library, seminar participation, upcoming events, and the Speaker Series presentations.
At one of the stitch and chats, Deb Reichert provided an interesting summation of Virtual Threads, who they are and how they work. At another, Education Director Heather MacKinnon talked about the changes to the education offerings.
