Beginner || Canvaswork

A charming little project that introduces the beginner to a variety of  stitches and threads used in Canvaswork embroidery. The birdhouses are all in a variety of shapes, colours and stitches assembled into a sweet housing community.  You can use the suggested fibres or personalize the project from your stash.

Design Area: 7 x 9 inches (17.75 x 22.8cm)

Ground Fabric: 18 count mono canvas (white or any other light shade) – cut 12 x 14 inches (30 x 32.5cm)

Thread: Pearl cotton #3 and #5, DMC floss, Caron Watercolours, Caron Waterlilies and Caron Impressions

Stitches Used: Smyrna, Cashmere, Hungarian, Gobelin, Florentine, Shell, Tent, Shell, Double Brick, Rice, Cross Stitch and Flat stitch variations

Time: 3 months

Option A: Electronic delivery of instructions (20 pages) – $90 CAD

Option B: Hardcopy instructions, postage included within Canada (20 pages) – $125 CAD

Option C: Hardcopy instructions, postage included to USA  (20 pages) – $129 CAD

Option D: Hardcopy instructions, postage included to International address (20 pages) – $135 CAD
