Description
Looking for a new project to sink your needle into? Crewelwork Nasturtiums takes the rich tradition of 17th-century crewel embroidery and gives it a fresh, contemporary spirit: a garden of coral blooms and fanciful patterned leaves, stitched in Appletons wool. With its generous variety of traditional stitches, from stem stitch and French knots to seeding and spider’s webs, this is a delightful design for learning new techniques or revisiting old favourites.
Full written instructions, stitch and placement diagrams, and plenty of close-up pictures guide you every step of the way. And since nasturtiums bloom in so many colours, you can easily make this design your own with a palette that speaks to you.
