Sometimes it can take up to six weeks for Canadian members to receive their magazines. We use Canada Post publications mail to send the magazines. To get those mailing rates, the magazines are bundled by similar postal codes and delivered by truck to a location where they are broken into smaller bundles and onto other trucks.Â
Stitch & Chat with the Board is an informal virtual gathering where members get together via Zoom. Usually, people share what they’re working on and sometimes what they’re reading. At previous get-togethers, members talked about needlework-related fiction and favourite authors.
The members attending direct the topics. Who knows what will come up? Perhaps we’ll talk about the library, seminar participation, upcoming events, and the Speaker Series presentations.
This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for advice about needlework tools, colour combinations or where to find information. Once the dates are set each year, sign ups will be available in My EAC/Mon ACB.
