EAC/ACB members are like you and me and everyone else. We have youth members who are 9 years old, and we have members who are that times 10 (plus a few).
All members contribute, whether they come to see what everyone’s working on, lead a program or stitch on their latest project. Many members who are no longer able to stitch still attend meetings to learn and discuss embroidery. Other members read Embroidery Canada when it arrives and appreciate knowing that their membership contributes to the EAC/ACB’s goal of preserving traditional techniques and promoting new challenges in the art of embroidery through education and networking.
Many chapters offer the option to visit a meeting to see if it’s the right fit for you. If you prefer to stitch on your own, we also offer individual memberships.
As a member, you are encouraged to take our technique study courses, purchase our projects to stitch, attend our virtual Speaker Series, and attend the annual seminar gathering. All members receive Embroidery Canada magazine and eThreads, our e-newsletter. There are also quarterly Stitch & Chat with the Board sessions via Zoom. Your membership is what you make it!
