Description

Step into the magic of the season with this exquisite goldwork and stumpwork embroidery project.

Learn to couch shimmering letters, craft and attach raised holly leaves, and master techniques like brick stitching Japan gold threads, couching pearl purl, and applying beads and spangles. With twinkling stars overhead and glistening berries below, this project is a celebration of texture, technique, and holiday joy.

Kit Contents: Red silk ground, quilter’s muslin backing, cotton for detached elements, metal and silk threads, beads, spangles, needle pack and wire

Supplies: 25cm (10″) and 10cm (4″) hoops, mechanical pencil or Frixion pen, fine tweezers, fine embroidery scissors, scissors or pliers to cut wire, 35cm x 35cm (14″ x 14″) lightweight cotton fabric of any colour (will be discarded upon completion) and recommended: awl, mellor and velvet board
