Description

Carrying the spirit of punto in aria—literally “stitches in the air”—this ethereal design flows in the graceful style of Aemilia Ars, a tradition that thrived in Bologna, Italy, in the late XIXth century.

Guided by Di Kirchner’s expert instruction, you’ll work over a template, crafting delicate lacework with only needle and thread. Once complete, your star will be mounted over silk into a timeless ornament, perfect for gifting or adorning your home.

Whether you bring only minimal experience in needlelace or a practiced hand seeking refinement, this project offers a delightful journey into heritage craftsmanship and classic artistry.
