Known variously as Bargello or Hungarian stitch, its bold geometrics and rhythmic colourwork flourished in fourteenth‐century Florence, where exquisite examples still grace the galleries of the Bargello Museum.
This sampler carries that legacy into the present, with flowing patterns and striking movement, featuring canvaswork and Florentine stitches worked in unusual ways. Work it in the designer’s palette or choose your own colours, then finish it as a pillow, framed piece, tray insert, or bag panel.
