This cheeky little design uses Japan gold thread to define the curves of the body. A basic knowledge of tracing a design, mounting fabric and couching threads are required when working with the minimalistic instructions. Create dimension and shading with French Knots in the negative spaces. A stuffing technique known as Trapunto enhances the curves.

Design Area: 5 x 3.5 inches (12.75 x 9cm)

Ground Fabric: Cream ultra suede (8″ x 8″/20.5 x 20.5cm)

Supplies: #5 or #7 Japan Gold thread, gold couching thread, embroidery floss, white or cream broadcloth/muslin, #7 0r #8 sharp needle, #20 chenille needle, quilt batting and fibrefill

Time: 4 months
