Marigold Guild of Needle Arts in Truro, Nova Scotia and the Tulip Tree Needlearts Guild in Chatham-Kent, Ontario have sent in photos of more finished 15-sided biscornus. The pattern was designed and shared by former EAC/ACB president, Joyce Gill.
Joyce’s pattern is actually a stitch sampler with each of the flowers incorporating a different stitch. On some of the biscornus, you can see the labels under the flowers.
It’s inspiring to see all of the variations of this fun project. The different background fabric and thread colours and each stitcher’s placement of the flowers make every biscornu unique.
