The Embroiderers’ Association of Canada/Association Canadienne de broderie (EAC/ACB) offers a unique opportunity for those providing goods and services of interest to our members. We offer advertising space in our twice-yearly member magazine, Embroidery Canada and newsletter, eThreads, published monthly from January to November.

Advertising in eThreads
eThreads, a valuable resource for all our members, keeps them informed about the latest news, developments, upcoming events, and achievements within the association. It also serves as an excellent platform for offering our members goods, opportunities, projects, and/or discounts, making it a prime space for your advertisements.
With an impressive average open rate of 80.9% and a click-to-open rate of 50.9% for the year ending March 2025, your ads in eThreads are sure to be seen and engaged with. Please note:
- Advertising space is limited to three ads per issue: first come, first served.
- The editor reserves the right to request that advertisements be edited for grammar and/or spelling and to refuse any advertisements that do not meet our standards.
- Placement of advertising within eThreads is at the discretion of the editor.
Rates
- $150 CDN for three insertions. Minimum of three insertions.
- Payment is due by the 10th of the month before the first scheduled insertion.
Specifications
- File format: jpg or png, sent as a separate file
- Size: 720 pixels wide by 240 pixels high. The file size is limited to 1 MB.
- Provide a URL to link with the ad.
Our members read eThreads on a variety of devices, including smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. Therefore, please use large text and a clear call to action for your ad. Your ad will link to your desired URL so members can reach you directly. We can’t guarantee that email addresses will open an email program, so links to websites, social media or other live online accounts are recommended.

Ad materials are due by the 15th of the month from December to October for publication on the 15th of the following month. eThreads is not published in December.
