The only real issue is one thread colour is almost exactly the same as the background material making those letters difficult to read. Â Of course this thread colour likely has faded.
Fabric has no holes in it. Â Some areas of the stitching appear to have been pulled a bit more than others.

Other Information:
Guessing that Grant school was in Grant Mills Ontario. Â Grant Mills Ontario was called this as Lewis Grant claimed land there that was entitled to his father. Â Grants Mills was in Edwardsburgh Township. Â Grant Mills is now Hyndman and in 2001 the township was amalgamated with the Village of Cardinal and is known as Edwardsburgh/Cardinal.
