Condition: Excellent

The only real issue is one thread colour is almost exactly the same as the background material making those letters difficult to read.  Of course this thread colour likely has faded.

Fabric has no holes in it.  Some areas of the stitching appear to have been pulled a bit more than others.

Many lines of capital letters in no apparent combination or reason.  Many pairs have one letter duplicated but does not seem to likely be peoples initials.  Looks like more for practice.

Other Information:

Guessing that Grant school was in Grant Mills Ontario.  Grant Mills Ontario was called this as Lewis Grant claimed land there that was entitled to his father.  Grants Mills was in Edwardsburgh Township.  Grant Mills is now Hyndman and in 2001 the township was amalgamated with the Village of Cardinal and is known as Edwardsburgh/Cardinal.
