This exhibition allows public photography. By submitting the entry forms, members are providing permission to allow photography of their embroidery by exhibition attendees and by EAC/ACB for promotional purposes.

While all due care will be taken with entered pieces, EAC/ACB and the hosting chapters are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

All entries for the Members’ Exhibition must use the provided forms to ensure accountability, credit the designer and the stitcher, and for insurance purposes.

Members’ Exhibition & Award Entry Form

The deadline for all entry forms is April 1, 2026.

This form must be completed and submitted by each member who is entering an embroidered piece for exhibition or an award. Members entering multiple pieces must complete and submit an entry form for each piece.

    Reproduction Permission

    This exhibition allows public photography. By submitting this entry form, I grant permission for photography of my embroidery by exhibition attendees and by EAC/ACB for promotional purposes.

    Categories followed by an asterisk (*) require additional specific forms. For additional information for entering the Original Design, Pulled Thread and Seminar Group Project awards, go to the EAC/ACB website Awards & Grants webpage.

    Entries for the Seminar Theme Award require a statement (max. 250 words) outlining the development of the design. This statement will be displayed with the piece.

    Entry Details

    The following information is required to plan the show's layout (required). If your measurements are in inches, divide each by 2.5 and round to the nearest .5 centimetre.

    The estimated value of your entry must be provided for insurance purposes.

    A photo is required for all entries and if the entry is in the Seminar Theme Award category a statement is required.

    Attach a photo (required, size limit 15MB). The file must be an image file, that is, in .jpg or .png format. Need help uploading your file? Contact techspecialist@eac-acb.ca.


    Seminar Group Project Entries

    These forms are to be completed by the Seminar Group Project Coordinator.

    Group Project Intent to Submit Form

    The deadline for the Intent to Submit form is February 1, 2026.

      The EAC/ACB Members' Exhibition allows public photography. By submitting this form, you will ensure that ALL participants in your group are aware that photographs will be taken by exhibition attendees and by EAC/ACB for promotional purposes.

      Each piece of embroidery entered requires a completed Members' Exhibition Entry Form by the due date. For example, if eight people each embroider one piece and group those eight pieces as one entry, each person must complete an entry form. One entry form must be completed if eight people embroider on the same piece and enter that one piece.

      Seminar Group Project entries without a completed entry form by the deadline will not be displayed.

      Seminar Group Project Entry Preliminary Information

      Please describe OR upload a chart or list of the piece(s) you expect to be submitted. Include the number and type of piece(s) (flat, stand provided by entrant, free-standing, etc.) and the space requirements (not to exceed one standard table 90cm x 185cm).

      Final Group Project Entry Form

      The deadline for the Final Group Project Entry Form is April 1, 2026.

        Each piece of embroidery entered requires a completed Members' Exhibition Entry Form by the due date. For example, if the entry is a single piece embroidered by many members, only a single Members’ Exhibition & Awards Entry Form needs to be submitted, and only one receipt for that entry will be issued.

        Seminar Group Project entries without a completed entry form by the deadline will not be displayed.

        Group Project Entries cannot exceed one table in size. Tables will be approximately 1.8m long by .8m deep (6' by 2.5').

        Group Project Statement

        Your statement will provide contextual information to benefit viewers at the Members’ Exhibition. The statement should include, but is not limited to, the following information:

        • Inspiration for the theme of the project and why it was chosen

        • The source of inspiration for the colours used

        • Any restrictions or limiting factors for the project, ie, size limitations

        • What methods, techniques and materials were used and why

        • The origin of the project (eg, workshop, special interest group, designer information)
