2026 Fundraisers

The fundraisers for Seminar 2026: Pacific Dreams/Rêves du Pacifique will be on sale at Market Night in Calgary on Thursday, May 15.

Are you not coming to the seminar this year?

  • Do you know someone who is coming? If so, ask them if they could purchase you a kit or two.
  • Orders will be accepted beginning on Friday, May 16. Mailing will begin June 2, 2025.

A fillable PDF order form will be available on May 16, 2025. Payments by credit card (Visa or Mastercard), e-transfer and cheque will be accepted. Combine purchases with your friends to save money on postage!

  • Orders will be shipped via Canada Post using the most economical rate, starting at $25 (no tracking).
  • Bulk Orders will ship via Canada Post Flat Rate boxes with tracking.
  • Any additional shipping needed will be communicated to you via email before your order ships.

Blackwork Orca Magnifier Cover

Blackwork Orca Magnifier Cover by Heather McKinnon

Designed by Heather McKinnon, this intermediate/advanced blackwork design uses different thread weights for shading. It is intended to be made into a magnifier cover. The kit includes fabric and instructions for completing the cover (20cm x 24.5cm to 23cm x 27.5cm).

Mama and Daughter

Mama and Daughter Cross Stitch by Debbie Anderson

A beginner design by Debbie Anderson, Mama and Daugther is a cross stitch chart. The kit includes an alternate colour for the daughter orca. This design can be made into a wallhanging, pillow, or pocket for a tote bag.

Orca Rising

Orca Rising Goldwork by Linda Brenner

Orca Rising, designed by Linda Brenner, is an intermediate goldwork design showing an orca rising out of the sea. This design uses kid leather, 1/16” ribbon, pearl purl, bright check purl, #8 braid, chipping, essing, and beads.

Finna

Finna Surface Satin Stitching with Filament Silk by Heather McKinnon

Orca in the Sea

Designed by Linda Brenner, this intermediate bead design uses peyote stitch around a wooden needlecase. The scissors holder is also made of peyote stitch and backed with black leather.
