A beautiful, flowing traditional design adapted from an original painting created in Budapest in 1932.
Techniques used in the project: Surface embroidery
Stitches used in the project: Raised Satin stitch, Stem stitch, Split stitch, French Knot
Size of Design Area: 6 1/4” x 6 1/4”
Supplies needed: 10″ x 10″ fine weave black linen; 10″ x 10″ black 100% cotton fabric for backing; size 10 Crewel needles; DMC stranded cotton floss (#224 Dark Rose-1 skein; #3053 Pale Green-1.5 skeins; #3363 Moss Green-1 skein; #3722 Pale Pink-1 skein); 8″ embroidery hoop
